About these terms

These Terms govern your use of daymarktv.app and your Daymark account. By creating an account or continuing to use Daymark, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Daymark is operated by Colin Morris in the United Kingdom. In these Terms, “Daymark”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of daymarktv.app.

What Daymark provides

Daymark is a calendar-first television tracker. It helps you browse programme information, follow shows, record watched episodes and request additions to the catalogue. Daymark is currently provided without a subscription charge.

Programme dates, availability and metadata can change or be incomplete. Daymark is a planning aid, not a guarantee that a programme will be broadcast or available from a particular service.

Your account

Give accurate account information, keep your sign-in method secure and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it results from something Daymark did wrong.

Google sign-in and password sign-in are separate authentication methods. Our Privacy notice explains the identity information used for Google sign-in.

Fair use of the service

You must not:

  • break the law or infringe another person’s rights using Daymark;
  • probe, bypass or interfere with authentication, permissions, rate limits or other security measures;
  • use automated traffic that harms the service or imposes an unreasonable load;
  • submit misleading catalogue requests or attempt to access another person’s account or private activity; or
  • copy or resell the service as though it were your own.

Catalogue and third parties

Television metadata is sourced from TVMaze and curated by Daymark: a selection of shows is imported, summaries are converted to plain text, and records are corrected or removed as the provider updates its data. TVMaze API data is made available under the CC BY-SA licence, and attribution to TVMaze is shown within Daymark. Programme artwork, provider marks and other third-party material may be subject to separate rights or licences.

Daymark itself is provided for personal, non-commercial use. Nothing in these Terms changes any rights you may have under a third-party licence that applies to catalogue data or other content.

Privacy and communications

Our Privacy notice explains how Daymark handles personal information. Essential service messages—including account verification, security and password-reset emails—form part of operating your account and are not marketing messages.

If you contact support, you agree that we may use your message and account details to investigate and respond to the issue.

Changes and availability

We may maintain, improve, replace or discontinue features. We may also suspend access temporarily for security, maintenance, provider outages or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We do not promise that Daymark will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

If a future change introduces a charge, it will not apply without clear advance information and any agreement required from you.

Ending your use

You can stop using Daymark at any time. Use Account → Delete account to permanently delete your account immediately. There is no cancellation window. If you need help with anything else, email support@daymarktv.app from your account address.

We may restrict or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these Terms, threatens the service or other users, or must be restricted for legal reasons. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason.

Our responsibility

Daymark is intended for personal, non-commercial television planning. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you began using the service, or for failures caused by third-party providers or events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including responsibility for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal or security changes. We will publish the revised version here, change the date above and give appropriate notice of a material change.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, while any mandatory protections available to you as a consumer where you live continue to apply. Questions can be sent to support@daymarktv.app.
