Help
A little help with Daymark.
A guide to following shows, keeping track of episodes and making the calendar work for you.
Follow your first show
You can browse the calendar and catalogue without an account. To follow shows and save what you’ve watched, create an account or sign in.
- Open Shows or use the search in the header to find a title.
- Open its show page and choose Follow.
- Its releases join your personal calendar, and its unwatched episodes appear in My TV.
Unfollowing a show keeps your watched history. Follow it again to pick up from your saved progress.
Find what’s on
The Calendar shows releases by day. Choose Week for the week ahead, Month for a wider view, or Agenda for a two-week list. Use the date controls to move through the schedule and Today to return.
When signed in, you can switch between your followed shows and all shows in Daymark’s catalogue. A quiet personal calendar may simply mean your shows have no announced releases in that period.
A full season released together can appear as one entry. Expand it to see individual episodes. On the phone’s month calendar, tap a date to open its releases.
Timed releases use your account timezone, which you can change in Account. Date-only releases stay on their listed date. Schedules come from TVMaze and can change.
Mark episodes watched
Use the circular watched control beside an episode on the calendar or a show page. A checkmark means it is watched; select it again to mark it unwatched. Show pages also offer season and show actions for marking released episodes together.
Episodes become available to mark on their release date in your account timezone, even if their airtime is later that day. Future episodes cannot be marked watched.
Adding shows you watched years ago? Mark them watched as usual, then use activity exclusions to keep that past viewing out of your recent activity figures.
Pick up where you left off
- Overview brings together your next unwatched episodes, upcoming releases, progress and recent marks.
- Catch up lists followed shows with released episodes still waiting. Filter or sort it to choose where to continue.
- Stats shows watched totals, estimated episode runtime and your activity patterns.
Activity dates record when you marked an episode watched in Daymark, rather than when you actually watched it. Runtime figures come from episode information and estimates, rather than a viewing timer.
Choose what counts
On a show page, open Options beside a season (the three-dot button on phones). There are two separate settings. Changes save automatically, and you can turn either setting back on.
Include in progress
Turn this off for a season you don’t plan to watch. Its regular episodes leave your progress and waiting lists, including later episodes added to that season. Show-level bulk watched actions skip it too.
Your existing watched history and calendar releases stay in place. This setting does not exclude recorded marks from activity stats.
Include in activity stats
Turn this off when recording past viewing would inflate your activity. The season’s regular episodes leave activity charts, streaks and catch-up pace, while watched totals, progress and waiting lists are kept.
This applies to existing marks and later episodes in the same season. Turning it back on counts all original marks on their original dates. Specials still count as activity.
For several seasons at once, open Activity settings above the show’s season list. Bulk exclusion skips empty seasons; including all restores individual exclusions too. New seasons added later start included, and you can adjust each season individually afterwards.
Request a missing show
Daymark has a curated catalogue, so a show may not have been added yet. Sign in and search for it on Shows. If it is missing, use the TVMaze results below the catalogue search and choose Request this show beside the right title.
Track its status under Show requests in your account menu. Requests are reviewed before a show is added. Once it is available, open it in Daymark and follow it.
Preferences and support
Open your account menu in the header and choose Account to set your timezone, default calendar audience, appearance and notification preferences.
To hide watched releases, choose Unwatched only under Calendar releases. Episodes you mark during a calendar visit stay visible until you return or change the date range. The compact phone month calendar always shows all releases for your selected audience.
